Have you ever thought of just how important you are?
by Chris Dixon

Everyone has the power to make a difference when you vote with your wallet.    How you make and spend your money speaks volume to what you personally care about.     If you love a specific restaurant you visit it frequently and you tell some of your friends about how good the food is there.   On the flip-side if you visit a restaurant and the food or service is bad you tell everyone at work and you share it on Facebook that this is a place to avoid.   Business owners for a long time have known that happy customers tell one friend about their experience while unhapp ...

"Thanksgiving and your 2nd Amendment rights." by Chris Dixon

by Conceal & Carry Network on 11/21/2013 - 03:21 pm

As we celebrate Thanksgiving I hope you will join me and thank God we have been blessed to live in the US.   While we are not a perfect country, we do have freedoms and opportunities that do not exist anywhere else in our world.   Our forefathers ratified the 2nd Amendment to ensure we had the ability to safeguard our freedoms and liberty.   Without freedom and liberty it would be difficult to celebrate Thanksgiving.  I hope we never forget the connection.
This is the first Thanksgiving for McMillan Merchant Solutions (MMS) www.mmsllc.com and for the Conceal & Carry Network (CCN) www.concealncarry.net .  These 2 companies are working diligently to ...

"PayPal & Square are Anti-Fireams"
by Chris Dixon
For those of us that love our 2nd Amendment rights we are finding many banks and financial establishments are actively working against us.    If you own a business it is possible you are inadvertently working against your own best interests by supporting companies that are opposed to you owning or purchasing a firearm.   In 2012 Bank of America dropped services for McMillan Rifle Company because they manufactured and sold firearms.  Just 2 months ago Authorize.Net one of the nation’s largest payment gateways dropped Hyatt Gun Shop because they sold firearms.   It is time we vote with ou ...

"Tips for the Beginner and Expert Shooters"

by Carlo D

To develop good defensive skills, incorporate gun movement and quick firing while maintaining sight alignment during target shooting. If your shots are grouping off centre by about an inch, do not be concerned. The sights on pistols are not always precise to eye sight and aim. If they are adjustable, you can move them.  If they are fixed sights, you can work with a gunsmith. As you practice this shooting drill, you will find your hits falling in smaller, closer groups.. At this point you should speed up between shots, being careful to keep the front sight in focus. Bring the gun up to eye level, quickly align the sights o ...

It’s a Great Time to Advertise!
By Chris Dixon
Advertising expenses can range from 1%-30% of a business’s yearly operating budget.  New companies might even budget 50% of their operating expenses to promote a start-up business.   This can quickly add up to vast amounts of money spent on printed materials, email campaigns, PPC Ads, Radio and TV spots, banner Ads, and so on.   These expenses can add up quickly.
If you are lucky with an email campaign you will get a 20% view rate, 7% Click rate, and a 2% conversion rate that gets you a sale.   Snail Mail (postal mail) today is very expensive with postage stamps at 33¢-46¢ each.&n ...

"Rope Style Marketing as a Business Plan" By Chris Dixon

Rope Style Marketing as a Business Plan
By Chris Dixon
There are countless forms of marketing techniques and many share different names.   To my knowledge the term “Rope Style Marketing” is not a recognized name as I just made it up.  Being a Texan from birth this sounded like a fitting name for the topic of this article.  Merriam-Webster defines ROPE as “a large stout cord of strands of fibers or wire twisted or braided together”.  This definition matches what I want to refer to as Rope Style Marketing.
There are more recognized terms like Cross-Marketing where 2 like-minded companies work together to the mutual benefit of both compa ...

Freedom Isn’t Free
By Chris Dixon
While this concept is neither new or original it is still an active issue that we must face daily while living in a country run by a super liberal president.    We’ve heard this old clichés before but do people actually realize there is a daily attack on our 2nd Amendment rights and liberties by this administration.   Wake up America your Freedoms are slipping away!
The older I get the more patriotic I feel.   My love of this country and my love of liberty are completely inner-twined.   When I see an active duty solder I am compelled to shake their hand and thank them for their services.  ...
