The Deadliest weapon on the battle field
The video shared with this article is awe inspiring to say the least.    Many American soldiers owe their lives to the skills of our nation’s best long range shooters.    The skill and training required to create such a super soldier has also been multiplied by the weapons they have available to them.     This video shows several versions of the Remington M40 Sniper Rifle, a Barrett .50 cal, and the McMillan Tac-50 in action.
Snipers are force multipliers and this video shows the best of the best and the stories of them in action.
This is a long documentary video and you will have a hard time ...

"When Women Carry" by Jessica Denis

When Women Carry
by Jessica Denis
More than 1,600 women in the United States were murdered by men in 2014, according to a recently released study by the Violence Policy Center. That averages to four women per day across the nation.

Imagine you hear footsteps creeping up behind you as you step toward your car. You reach for your car keys but you aren’t quick enough. You can feel someone’s presence behind you, his breath close enough to feel on your neck. It’s too late. He violently attacks you and leaves you bleeding and holding on for life.
It is a scary image, of course, but it is also a reality for many women.
Now imagine instead the same situation, but ...

ArachniGRIP® Slide Spider® Review
by Chris Dixon
If you are new to carrying a firearm or an old hand, there is a lot to learn about carrying a firearm beyond just buying a gun.  You don’t just go to your local firearms retailer buy a gun and some ammo and put in a drawer.   Well I guess you could, but that would be a total waste.   There are several things you need to consider like how will I be carrying my pistol (i.e. concealed or open carry).   What kind of safety training I will take? What kind of holsters will I need?   What kind of belt will I use and then what kind of accessories will I need?
When you are looking ...

Goldstar Holsters Under the Steering Column Holster review
by Chris Dixon

When you are searching for your next holster there are a lot of things to take into account. Will this holster fit my life style? Will it function well in a crisis situation? Will it hold up to daily or frequent use? Your search will lead you to custom made IWB (Inside the waist band) or OWB (Outside the waist band) options that are built from products like leather and Kydex.

There is a situation that many people new to carrying a firearm do not address.  What do you do when you decide to drive somewhere?   Do you simple continue to use your current holster and strap in using the state required seat b ...

George Zimmerman gun auction
by Chris Dixon
Over the last few days George Zimmerman has attempted to sell the gun used when he killed Trevyon Martin. Honorable sites like @GunBroker at www.gunbroker.com and another firearms social media group @UnitedGunGroup at www.unitedgungroup.com have come under media firestorm. Both of these sites are hit with a choice revolving around our 2nd Amendment rights, moral obligations, and media bias . One huge point to make is both of these sites are simply member listings. Anyone could list a firearm to legally sell on either of these sites. It just so happened that George Zimmerman signed up as a member for both si ...

Review of the Urban Carry Holster
By Chris Dixon
In the world of personal carry holsters the Urban Carry Holster utilizes a totally different design.   I wanted to share with you my review of this unique holster and how it stacks up to the competition.
I have been carrying for a while and unlike the majority of people out there I like to carry full-size guns.   My current favorite pistol is the XDM .45 with a 4.5” barrel.     The .45ACP offers a high level of stopping power and in a self-defense situation I have 13+1 opportunities to defend myself without the need to reload.     The disadvantage to this weapon is related to ...

Anyone remember the NFL rejecting Daniel Defense's commercial
by Chris Dixon
Sadly it seems that patriotic and pro-military stories seem to just get swept under the rug by our #corruptmedia.    Sometimes we need to remind people that their stories are worth re-telling.   America loves football but the NFL does not seem to support our military, 2nd Amendment, or a patriotic viewpoint.   We need to keep this story alive so that positive change can be made.    If enough emails are sent someone might just get the message.
Here is the banned video from Daniel Defense.

There was a great deal of response from the Pro-2nd Amendment side as we see here from NRA Ne ...
